Dr. Anobel Tamrazi, MD, PhD

Dr. Tamrazi is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist who enjoys taking care of his patients

He is passionate about using personalized precision medicine to improve oncology treatment for every patient

After growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area and completing his residency and fellowship training at Stanford Medical Center, Dr. Tamrazi was on faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. 

He returned to the Bay Area to start his private practice, focused on making IR procedures and access to the latest diagnostic testing that are generally only available in major academic centers such as UCSF or Stanford easily available to the Sequoia Hospital and bay area community

With the goal of providing the highest quality of biopsies to guide a patient's oncology care, Dr. Tamrazi established the Precision Biopsy Center at Sequoia Hospital in 2017 (pictured below are Dr. Anobel Tamrazi (left), Ann Campbell (center), and Andrea Eller (right).

This center does both clinical and translational research activities with the focus always on improving patient health.
